Leander Metropolis Council unanimously accredited the change Sept. 2. Zoning at 203, 208 and 210 N. Brushy St. is now an city middle zone and transect zone, which is used for higher-density mixed-use improvement, in accordance with town. It was beforehand zoned as normal business.
Matt Delahoussay, who represented the developer, stated Aug. 19 that plans are to develop a district with bars, eating places and leisure venues on the three land parcels. Delahoussay additionally stated the developer is planning to create a restaurant and beer backyard on the Davis House, which was recently rezoned for normal business zoning.
“We perceive that Previous City is a precedence space for the neighborhood,” Delahoussay stated. “And we’re dedicated to creating these tasks a high-quality addition to the neighborhood.”
There are two present single-family buildings and accent buildings on two of the parcels, in accordance with metropolis planning paperwork. The third parcel is vacant.
